Quality Mart Store Assistant Manager

Position Summary

We are looking for Store Assistant Managers in the Raleigh/Durham Area! Quality Mart Store Assistant Managers are chosen leaders who are responsible for assisting in all convenience store operations. The Store Assistant Manager provides support to the manager and store employees in order to maintain operational excellence. Store Assistant Managers demonstrate, train and hold all associates responsible for providing the “WOW” customer service experience. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for cash management, shift duties, store organization, store image, and cleanliness. The Assistant Manager will assist with operational duties including paperwork and opening/closing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

- Supporting Operational Duties– Store Assistant Managers support the Manager in completion of daily paperwork, inventory, cash management, opening/closing duties, and staff management.

- Shift Duties – Assistant Managers will help complete shift duties including: stocking, trash removal, cleaning, organization, and pump maintenance.

- Point of Sale – Assistant Managers are responsible for POS maintenance, corrections, cash management, loyalty and coupon management.

- Customer Service and Complaint Resolution – Assistant Managers listen and resolve customer complaints and issues in the absence of or in conjunction with the manager.

- Core Ideology - The core ideologies are the founding principles of our company. Assistant Managers are expected to know and live out the core ideology in store operations, customer service, and staff management

Requirements

- Convenience store management experience preferred

- Basic mathematical, reading, and writing skills

- Excellent customer service, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to perform repetitive work accurately with a strict attention to detail

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically

- Ability to work in a cooler at a temperature of 32 degrees for up to 15 minutes at a time

- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and climb steps for extended lengths of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
