ensuring that our utility-scale solar EPC and CMEC projects meet the highest standards

Job Summary
The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing quality
assurance and control processes across multiple construction sites. This role ensures
compliance with contract specifications, codes, standards, and internal procedures
while actively collaborating with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, and
clients. The Quality Manager will develop inspection protocols, audit field activities, and
mentor teams to uphold quality across all phases of solar construction.
Key Responsibilities
Project Quality Oversight
• Implement and manage project-specific Quality Management Plans (QMPs).
• Ensure construction activities comply with project drawings, specifications, and
industry standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, ASTM).
• Oversee quality inspections at critical phases: pile driving, racking, module
installation, wiring, commissioning, etc.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of inspections, testing, and corrective
actions.
Audit & Compliance
• Conduct regular site audits to ensure adherence to QA/QC processes and
identify non-conformances.
• Coordinate third-party inspections and testing agencies as required.
• Review subcontractor quality control programs and ensure alignment with
LightEdison standards.
• Maintain NCR (Non-Conformance Report) logs and track resolution efforts.
Continuous Improvement
• Analyze trends from inspections, audits, and field observations to drive systemic
improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and field operations to prevent
recurring quality issues.
• Promote proactive quality behaviors through training, mentorship, and
performance feedback.
Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain complete and accurate quality records, including ITPs (Inspection and
Test Plans), punch lists, and close-out packages.
• Support commissioning teams with turnover documentation and QA compliance
for energization milestones.
• Provide weekly reports to project leadership on QA performance metrics, risks,
and action items.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in solar construction, utility-scale EPC projects, or
related infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of electrical and civil construction standards (NEC, NESC,
ASTM, etc.).
• Experience managing ITPs, field inspections, and quality audits.
• Proficiency with QA documentation, punch list tracking tools, and issue resolution
workflows.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, technical specs, and
engineering reports.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence teams on-
site.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or
related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications such as ASQ-CQA, ICC, NABCEP PV Installation Professional, or
equivalent.
• Experience with digital QA/QC platforms (e.g., Procore, Trimble ProjectSight).

• Competitive base salary ($65,000 - $90,000 based on experience and project
scale).
