better - together.

About The Role

At LightEdison, we believe quality is not just an outcome - it's a mindset. We're

seeking a Quality Manager who shares our passion for precision, continuous

improvement, and operational excellence. This individual will lead the charge in

ensuring that our utility-scale solar EPC and CMEC projects meet the highest standards

of workmanship, reliability, and compliance. If you're a hands-on leader who can uphold

rigorous quality processes in fast-paced field environments, this role is for you.

Job Summary

The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing quality

assurance and control processes across multiple construction sites. This role ensures

compliance with contract specifications, codes, standards, and internal procedures

while actively collaborating with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, and

clients. The Quality Manager will develop inspection protocols, audit field activities, and

mentor teams to uphold quality across all phases of solar construction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Quality Oversight

Implement and manage project-specific Quality Management Plans (QMPs).
Ensure construction activities comply with project drawings, specifications, and

industry standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, ASTM).

Oversee quality inspections at critical phases: pile driving, racking, module

installation, wiring, commissioning, etc.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of inspections, testing, and corrective

actions.

Audit & Compliance

Conduct regular site audits to ensure adherence to QA/QC processes and

identify non-conformances.

Coordinate third-party inspections and testing agencies as required.
Review subcontractor quality control programs and ensure alignment with

LightEdison standards.

Maintain NCR (Non-Conformance Report) logs and track resolution efforts.

Continuous Improvement

Analyze trends from inspections, audits, and field observations to drive systemic

improvements.

Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and field operations to prevent

recurring quality issues.

Promote proactive quality behaviors through training, mentorship, and

performance feedback.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain complete and accurate quality records, including ITPs (Inspection and

Test Plans), punch lists, and close-out packages.

Support commissioning teams with turnover documentation and QA compliance

for energization milestones.

Provide weekly reports to project leadership on QA performance metrics, risks,

and action items.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of QA/QC experience in solar construction, utility-scale EPC projects, or

related infrastructure.

Strong understanding of electrical and civil construction standards (NEC, NESC,

ASTM, etc.).

Experience managing ITPs, field inspections, and quality audits.
Proficiency with QA documentation, punch list tracking tools, and issue resolution

workflows.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, technical specs, and

engineering reports.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence teams on-

site.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or

related field (or equivalent experience).

Certifications such as ASQ-CQA, ICC, NABCEP PV Installation Professional, or

equivalent.

Experience with digital QA/QC platforms (e.g., Procore, Trimble ProjectSight).

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive base salary ($65,000 - $90,000 based on experience and project

scale).

Performance bonuses tied to quality outcomes and project milestones.
401(k) retirement plan.
Health, dental, and vision insurance.
Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement for field travel.
Paid time off (PTO) and holidays.
Opportunities for training and certification in QA/QC and solar industry standards.

Why Join LightEdison?

every project we build.
