Quality Lead

The Site Quality Lead is responsible for implementing and adhering to a project’s Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Field Quality Assurance Program and leading project staff to include Technicians and Temporary Labor. Must be fluent in Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical inspection requirements but can assist in civil, and pre-commissioning inspection means and methods. Leadership role responsible for establishing and executing project quality plans, personnel development, training, isolating and solving issues, and reporting of quality issues and program metrics. This role initiates tests, analyzes results, and finds solutions to technical problems.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

Work is completed both in the field (90%) and in an office environment (10%). This position works in an outdoor environment and must tolerate all seasons’ weather; requires extensive travel though portions of the North Carolina and other states on an as-needed basis. Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures. Personal protective equipment is required (included but not limited to hard hat, proper footwear, rubber insulated gloves, safety glasses). Must be able to sit, stoop, kneel, bend, stand, or walk short to long distances for 8-10 hours a day. Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
