The Quality Engineer plays a key role in ensuring that ZEVAC’s products and processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This position is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, supporting root cause investigations, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining quality systems that uphold product integrity throughout the lifecycle.

Developing and implementing quality control procedures and inspection protocols for incoming, in-process, and finished goods
· Collaborating with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve product consistency
· Leading root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes for internal and field-reported issues
· Supporting audits, compliance reviews, and documentation for industry and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, API, ASME)
· Monitoring quality metrics and reporting trends to drive data-informed decision-making
· Reviewing and approving engineering changes from a quality and compliance perspective
· Maintaining and improving the company’s Quality Management System (QMS)
· Conducting supplier quality assessments and supporting vendor qualification processes
· Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with design specifications
· Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction
· Training team members on quality standards, procedures, and best practices
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality assurance and process improvement
· Proficiency with inspection tools, GD&T, and statistical quality methods.
· Working knowledge of industry and manufacturing standards (e.g., ISO 9001, API, ASME)
· Effective communication and collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams
· Experience with quality audits, documentation, and regulatory compliance
· Knowledge of machining practices and mechanical components preferred
· Proficiency in 3D modeling and CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
· Experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or product compliance preferred
· Six Sigma certification or RCCA experience is preferred
· ASQ certification (CQE, CQA) or similar credentials preferred
