Our success is built on the strength of our people. We are seeking an energetic, hardworking Quality Control Technician to join our Quality Control Department. This full-time position plays a key role in ensuring the quality of our products through testing, record-keeping, and production troubleshooting.

Job Summary:

The QC Technician is responsible for quality testing of ready-mix concrete products at both plant locations and customer job sites, while maintaining compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform field testing on concrete and aggregate products (slump, air content, unit weight, yield, cylinders, etc.).

- Conduct gradations on production aggregates and laboratory testing (including compression testing and scheduling).

- Mix and test trial batches as needed.

- Transport, log, strip, mark, and break test cylinders.

- Accurately record and report test results and observations.

- Maintain lab areas, equipment, and certifications to meet quality control standards.

- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.

- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

- High School diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.

- Six months of related experience or training in a laboratory or QC setting preferred.

- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Preferred.

- Valid driver’s license required.

- Strong analytical and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
