We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our Fabrication Division.
What You’ll Do:
•Work closely with the QC Supervisor and Shop Supervisor to ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional products
•Conduct in-process and final inspections of fabricated and welded components
•Identify welding defects, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on resolutions
•Inspect welds for quality and ensure compliance with CSA W47.1/W59 and client specifications
•Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality control records
•Assist in diagnosing welding-related problems and guiding teams toward effective solutions
What You Bring:
•Strong background in welding, with 3+ years of experience in a structural fabrication shop
CWB Welding Inspector Level 1 certification - not required but considered a strong asset*
•Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
•Ability to read and interpret structural steel drawings and welding symbols
•Strong communication and teamwork skills
•Knowledge of structural steel welding processes and equipment
•Understanding of NDE techniques such as Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Ultrasonic Testing
