Quality Control Inspector

V&G Dynamic Machine is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team. Based in Marble Falls, TX, V&G Dynamic Machine has been producing precision machined components for the semiconductor, energy, aerospace, and medical industries for over 30 years. As Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for upholding our companies’ standards by ensuring our products meet our customer’s quality expectations and regulatory requirements.

Position Requirements and Responsibilities:

Ability to interpret and explain complex machined part drawings and assemblies

Knowledge of machining processes and procedures

Comprehensive understanding of part tolerancing requirements including GD&T calculations

In-depth experience in the use of measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, etc.

Experience in the use and application of CMM equipment

Perform and accurately document FAI and in-process inspections

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

2+ years work experience in a manufacturing or similar environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent computer skills (email, Microsoft Excel, etc)

Experience working in an ISO 9001 setting (AS9100 experience preferred)

Working knowledge of NCR documentation, reporting, and execution

- How much experience do you have with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing? Including performing true position calculations, measuring profile tolerances and interpreting complex engineering drawings with tolerances down to 0.001"
