Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to oversee and ensure adherence to regulatory standards within our organization. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our quality management systems and ensuring that processes meet the highest standards of quality assurance. - Implement and refine QMS aligned with NADCAP, ISO 9001, CQI-9, and customer standards.
- Lead the preparation for and execution of NADCAP audits and recertification processes.
- Achieve and maintain ≥ 98% audit compliance scores across all quality standards and customer audits.
- Lead internal, supplier, and customer audits with 100% on-time closure of findings.
- Improve process efficiency and reliability by driving Lean initiatives, targeting 15% defect reduction year-over-year.
- Develop and coach a high-performing Quality team, improving employee certification and training compliance to 100%.
- Serve as liaison with regulators, certification bodies, and key customers on compliance matters.
- Work with IT to enhance and implement digitization of QMS and audit standards.
- Work with Maintenance Managers to ensure up to date standards and compliance with all equipment and specifications.
- Maintain KPI dashboards (FPY, DPPM, audit findings) and present monthly to executive leadership.
- Ensure full audit and customer standards readiness; achieve zero major findings in audits and recertifications.
- Monitor regulatory and industry changes to maintain leadership in compliance and quality systems.
- Manage documentation related to quality systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for audits.
- Oversee project management initiatives related to compliance improvements and regulatory submissions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies during inspections or audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or related.
- 10+ years of progressive quality leadership, ideally in heat-treating or manufacturing environments.- Proven success in achieving NADCAP, ISO 9001, CQI-9 and other accreditations certifications with strong audit history.
- Demonstrated ability to reduce defects, improve KPIs, and sustain compliance improvements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successful implementation of compliance initiatives.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards across all processes.
