Williams Operating Corporation - Barrick Gold located near Marathon in Northwestern Ontario presently requires a:

QA/QC Technician

Position Description:

The QA/QC Technician is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and implementing changes to improve drill and blast activities in the Williams underground. This person will work closely with the Technical Services, Geology, and Operations groups to help drive improvements in recovery and dilution and to ensure compliance to plan. Time will be split between being underground collecting data and monitoring changes and being on surface conducting analysis.

Responsibilities:

Conduct ventilation surveys, ground control pull testing, or other QA/QC work as required with other technical service departments

Qualifications:

Ability to lead change and work in a team-based environment
