We’re looking for motivated individuals to join our growing team as Racker Apprentices. This is an entry-level position with opportunities to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in the solar industry.

Job Summary

As a Racker Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced solar professionals to install residential solar panel systems. You’ll learn the basics of racking and mounting solar panels, preparing homes for installation, and performing light electrical prep work — all while gaining the skills to grow within the industry.

No solar experience? No problem. We’ll train the right candidate.

What You’ll Do

Your day-to-day will include:

•

Assisting with the installation of roof railings and mounting systems

•

Helping mount solar panels on residential roofs

•

Supporting the crew with basic flashing and sealing of roof penetrations

•

Helping run conduit and pulling DC wires (under supervision)

•

Cleaning, maintaining, and organizing job site tools and materials

•

Learning proper safety procedures and construction best practices

Qualifications

•

Comfortable working outdoors and on rooftops for extended periods

•

Able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs

•

6+ months of experience in construction or general labor preferred (but not required)

•

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

•

Team player who takes pride in quality work

Requirements

•

Valid HI Driver’s License

•

Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screening

Compensation: $20/hr DOE
