Senior Service Technicians - PV Solar/Battery - Experienced
SUMMARY
We are currently seeking experienced Solar Service Technicians, a critical part of the Service team, providing diagnostic, repair and replacement support to customers whose systems are not performing properly. Ideal candidates will possess strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
•Troubleshoot and repair all aspects of PV systems including:
•Commission new PV systems
•Perform Quality Control inspections
•Report field findings to management in a timely manner
•Work with management to enhance internal training programs
•Assist sales, design, and installation teams as needed
•Communicate relevant information to customers in a polite and timely manner
•Write accurate billing estimates for customers when appropriate
•Other miscellaneous duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Work will require long hours of roof work
•Be able to work independently and as a team
•Must be comfortable using ladders and working on rooftops
•Clean CA driver’s license required
•Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
•Basic computer proficiency required
•Five years Electrical and Solar experience required
•Previous experience utilizing power and hand tools required
•High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
•Experience with installation, maintenance, or commissioning of solar battery storage systems (eg. Tesla Powerwall, Enphase Encharge, LG Chem, Sonnen, etc)
•Understanding of energy storage principles, lithium-ion battery technology, and integration with PV systems
Hourly Rate: $30-$35/hour
