Elendil Resources is seeking an experienced Pumper/Lease Operator to join our team and help maintain one of our gas leases in the Texas Panhandle. This is a contract to hire position and will involve a 60 day contract trial period that will convert to a full time salaried position for the right candidate. Our leases are located 1 hour and 15 minutes north of Amarillo and you must either live within a reasonable drive of the field or be willing to relocate at the end of the trial period with a relocation stipend provided.
You must have experience pumping gas wells. Working knowledge of compressors, pumping units and total flow meters is a bonus. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of the field and requires a blend of mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience. This position comes with bonuses tied to production so the more you put into the job the more you get paid.
- Perform regular inspections of well sites, pumps, compressors, and related production equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Proactively identify maintenance needs and initiate corrective actions.
- Record production data, including flow volumes, equipment status, and any operational issues.
- Ensure all reports are accurate, timely, and compliant with company standards.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical or process-related issues.
- Perform minor repairs, or coordinate with the maintenance team when necessary.
- Enforce and adhere to all safety protocols, environmental standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in routine safety meetings and audits.
- Collaborate with field personnel, supervisors, and other departments to maximize uptime and resolve field-level issues efficiently.
- Support team development and maintain clear communication channels.
- Read and interpret meters, gauges, and computerized systems to monitor production rates and well performance.
- Perform tasks such as lubrication, filter changes, and minor part replacements.
- Inspect for and repair leaks in pipelines, valves, and equipment to ensure operational integrity.
- Assist with the setup, operation, and demobilization of equipment in the field.
- Ensure all installations meet safety and functional requirements.
- Maintain detailed logs of production volumes, maintenance activities, and any incidents or anomalies.
- Respond promptly and effectively to equipment failures, spills, or other emergencies.

Projected Total Compensation: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
