Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining the integrity of the freight being transported.

Duties

- Operate various types of trucks, including flatbed, dump truck, and tanker vehicles, ensuring safe transportation of goods.

- Load and unload freight using forklifts or manual methods, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.

- Plan routes effectively for timely deliveries while considering road conditions and traffic regulations.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for hours worked, mileage, and fuel consumption.

- Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).

- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.

- Experience in route driving and delivery driving is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of loading and unloading procedures for various types of freight.

- Previous experience operating specialized vehicles such as tankers or flatbeds is a plus.

- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to truck driving and freight transportation.
