JOB DUTIES: Oversee and execute corporate projects and initiatives to establish a robust and secure supply chain and IT infrastructure. Provide technical expertise to the Exploration and Production (E&P) and Trading business streams. Work on corporate projects and initiatives. Work on Supply Chain (Procurement and Contract Management). Ensure strict compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations, as well as adherence to Petrobras headquarters' policies and procedures. Review and develop Petrobras America Inc. (PAI) supply chain standards as to comply with current business needs and compliance requirements. Forecast purchasing needs of goods and services. Develop and implement procurement strategies that are cost-effective and align with company goals. Conduct contracting process for good and services. Manage the supplier lifecycle, including onboarding, performance evaluation, the procure-to-pay cycle, Purchase Order, and Invoice management. Manage procurement budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings. Track and analyze procurement spending to identify areas for improvement. Implement cost-saving initiatives, such as standardization and consolidation of suppliers. Report on procurement activities and performance metrics to stakeholders. Support Corporate internal and external audit processes. Ensure strict compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations, as well as adherence to Petrobras headquarters' policies and procedures. Review and develop PAI IT strategic plan and standards as to comply with current business needs and compliance requirements. Design, maintain, and optimize IT infrastructure (e.g., networks, servers, databases, user terminals, applications and IoTs). Implement cyber security via a multi-layered approach including identification of the organization's critical assets and potential cyber threats, applying technical safeguards (network security, system updates and access controls), and ongoing monitoring and continuous improvement. Ensure IT resilience to maintain operability in case of disruptions. Regularly assess the potential impact of disruptions on IT systems and data. Identify and mitigate the risks to PAI’s IT systems and data, including the development a business continuity plan (BCP) and disaster recovery plan (DRP). Implement redundant systems and data backups. Regularly patch our systems and software to keep them up-to-date and secure. Educate our users about IT security and how to avoid disruptions. Develop a plan for responding to incidents, such as cyberattacks or data breaches. Regularly test our resilience plans to ensure that they are effective. Manage and resolve IT-related user requests and incidents. Act as liaison between Petrobras America and Petrobras Brazil HQ Managers and technical specialists. Serve as a technical consultant, providing expertise as necessary. Provide reservoir engineering expertise to support the modeling and reporting of the company's reserves and conduct economic evaluations for internal stakeholders (HQ) and external regulatory bodies in Brazil and the United States. Provide drilling and well engineering expertise to evaluate JV MPGOM project proposals, including AFEs for drilling, completion, workover, light intervention, testing, abandonment (T&A and P&A), and decommissioning activities. Provide technical support for the creation, maintenance, and QAQC of PAI’s production, wells information, AFEs, P&Ls, and other E&P databases and dashboards. Contribute to the research and evaluation of new opportunities. Provide support to Trading Area as required. Procure Subscriptions, Supervision, Inspections, and Laboratory Testing Services to support PAI’s International Trading operations. Process payment of products (crude oil and derivatives) and services (transportation, inspection, supervision, etc.) Support vessel charters registration in SAP system. Partner with Area Managers and Analysts to create and publish informative BI reports and performance dashboards. Work with SAP user profile management and authorization controls. Work with the E&P Upstream segment, specifically with a focus on offshore deepwater operations. Work on agreements that govern industry E&P partnerships and M&As such as CAs, TSAs, MSAs, UOAs, JOAs, PHAs, and CSAs, financial Statements and AFEs (P&Ls, Cash Distributions, and Balance Sheet), well construction design in deepwater operations (drilling and completion): casing and cementing design and completion designs in the Lower Tertiary and Pliocene/Miocene reservoirs, well construction programs and operations report such as BOD, EOWR, DDR, DCR, DPR, WL and RT logs. Work on reservoir and economic modeling for reserves reporting under the SEC, and SPE criteria, VME calculations and Monte Carlos simulation, MOC and Risk Analysis Matrix, SWOT analysis, ZOPA and BATNA principles, ONRR Royalties regulatory framework, BSEE regulatory framework (e.g. 30 CFR Part 250, APD, APM, and NTL), API standards for drilling and completion operations. Knowledge of specialized drilling engineering software (e.g., well planning, drilling simulation). Use Microsoft 365 for technical report writing and presentations. Utilize wide range of functions, formulas, and data manipulation techniques (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Slicers, and Macros). Work on the construction and structuring of intricate spreadsheets designed for the purpose of data analysis and reporting, build dashboards and charts to visualize data effectively. Work with data cleansing and transformation techniques in Excel and PowerBI (e.g., Power Query). Work with VBA and DAX programming for automating repetitive tasks.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Petroleum Engineering.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 10 years of relevant experience was gained in Supply Chain working with procurement principles applicable to the oil and industry, including commercial practices and contract terms and conditions in different international markets, purchasing practices and procedures (Direct Award, Competitive Bidding, Market Coverage, and Amendments), quality-control tools, codes requirements and regulations, CRM and SRM principles; with at least 5 years of supervisory experience leading and mentoring a team of at least 3 members; with at least 5 years of working with SAP ProAni and SAP S/4 Hana in SCM, MM, AP, and FI modules, customizing and executing SAP queries (e.g., FBL1N, FAGLL03, XK03, ME2N, and BW reports); with at least 3 years of relevant experience in IT using network and AV architectures and operability, management of front and back-end day-to-day support operations and development of IT strategic plans and Procedures.
