Scope of Work:
Ensures that the quality requirements of the company, client, and project management system are established, implemented, and maintained throughout the execution of the construction.
Responsibilities:
•Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters.
•Support the project and construction managers with milestone payment reviews.
•Develop/review Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring all inspection and testing requirements—including witness and hold points—are addressed.
•Ensure contractor compliance with ITPs during project execution.
•Develop/review quality check sheets and organize the quality documentation database.
•Monitor contractor quality performance and investigate shortfalls, identifying associated risks.
•Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective/preventative actions, and provide technical advice on repair or replacement decisions.
•Ensure goods/services delivered align with procurement specs.
•Establish verification procedures for inspection/testing equipment accuracy.
•Prepare and execute detailed audit programs.
•Collaborate with the internal turnover coordinator.
Resource Management:
•Assist and oversee field service consultants/site inspectors.
•Identify recurring quality issues and coordinate appropriate responses.
•Provide quality improvement guidance aligned with continuous improvement goals.
Deliverables:
•Monthly quality reports.
•Periodic audits with recommendations.
•Maintenance and accuracy of ARC GIS verification dashboards.
Skills and Capabilities:
•Knowledge of transmission/distribution system assets and construction sequences.
•Technical report writing and analysis.
•Strong communication and self-management skills.
•5–10 years of relevant experience.
