The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $103,000 to $129,000
This position requires a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager I to lead and manage large-scale projects within the utility business. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective leadership in a matrix organization, ensuring the successful initiation, planning, execution, and closing of projects. This role demands a strong focus on managing teams, quality and environmental processes, and third-party projects, while maintaining performance indicators and stakeholder satisfaction.
This position of Project Manager is for the Substation Automation Projects unit responsible for automation and grid modernization projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing activities between team members including project managers, engineers, construction management, and external contractors. This team will design and execute automation and grid modernization projects, such as breakers, RTUs or battery replacement projects, located in RGE and NYSEG territories in New York according to the Substation Digital Plan and as directed by T&S Asset Planning or Maintenance Engineering.
Responsibility includes meeting corporate goals for capital investment, managing Construction Work in Progress, and energization of projects. Accountable for coordinating activities between several Substation projects, by managing resource requirements, priorities, investment plans, project execution strategy and internal/external resource requirements.
