Project Engineer - Traveling - Industrial Construction

The Weitz Company is hiring a Traveling Project Engineer II to join our Industrial Tecnico team. The Project Engineer II is responsible for several functions throughout the duration of assigned projects including preconstruction, planning, buyout, management and closeout. This role actively monitors project status and informs the project team of any issues that may impact the project schedule and/or budget. The Project Engineer II typically reports to the Project Manager and may supervise other site personnel. What You’ll Do:

What We’re Looking For:

+ Industry related degree required + Minimum of two (2) years of construction project management experience is required + LEAN principles experience is desirable + OSHA 30 preferred, or the willingness to obtain upon hire + Industrial construction is preferred + High level of initiative and problem-solving skills + Excellent verbal and written communication + Detail-oriented and highly organized + Flexibility to balance competing needs + Ability to build positive relationships across the organization + Proficient in basic computer software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook + Ability to learn specific job-related software upon hire
