What Do You Offer Us?

Manages all aspects of the relationship for assigned clients, which includes, leading visits to client sites, generating revenue by securing work from assigned clients, being the primary point of contact for assigned clients, and managing all client communication

Manage entire portfolio of projects totaling $7.5 million to $10 million dollars for assigned client
Develops, implements and maintains project execution planning and management that will ensure assigned projects are completed safely, on-time, within budget, and to the quality standards required by both the client and the company
Assembles and directs the work of multiple crews
Provides guidance to project staff in order to achieve their full understanding of the scope of work and contract terms
Supervises essential project duties including cost and labor tracking, material submittals, subcontractor management, contract compliance, etc, and take corrective action to meet project goals
In the absence of the Engineering Manager, oversees the operations of the Engineering department
Responsible for compliance and implementation of the ECDA process, including the technical evaluations and analyses conducted throughout the assessment. These include, but are not limited to, the feasibility analysis, indirect inspection tool selection, ECDA region selection, indirect inspection and direct examination data analysis, remaining strength evaluation, root cause analysis, reclassification, reprioritization, remaining life calculations and assessment of ECDA effectiveness.
Cathodic Protection (“CP”) related responsibilities include conducting independent corrosion surveys, analysis, preparation of reports and taking action to analyze and address the CP facilities that aren’t being sufficiently protected from external corrosion.
Prepares and delivers monthly CP inspection reports which include the corrosion status piping systems, assessment of any trends that may have affected the corrosion protection and cause an integrity threat.
Provides engineering expertise for the assessment and design for mitigation of high voltage alternating current interference on buried pipelines, in order to prevent damage due to AC influenced corrosion and/or electrical fault conditions. This expertise includes AC interference modeling, targeted field testing, and engineering assessment and mitigation designs.
Provides engineering expertise for the assessment and design for direct current interference on buried pipelines. Including the development and application of multi-phased targeted field testing programs.
Perform corrosions control failure analysis to determine root-cause, working in conjunction with company metallurgists and laboratory personnel, and developing remediation action plans.
Performs follow-up commissioning testing and surveys for designed mitigation systems and provided engineering support during construction and installation
Develops specialized procedures and practices for unique operating scenarios, which may include, but are not limited to, guidance for safety, integrity assessment programs or the evaluation of remedial measures.
Develops and implements algorithm prediction modeling for life prediction of critical infrastructure assets.

What is Required?

Ability to complete corrosion control engineering analysis and designs
Develop and apply multi-field testing programs
Implement, assess and ensure compliance of the ECDA process
Assess and design (high voltage) direct current interface on buried pipelines
CP project development and proposal drafting
CP project management for projects up to $3.5 million in value
Ability to work cross-functionally between departments
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline (Metallurgical, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical preferred)
NACE Cathodic Protection CP-2 certification
Minimum four years of Engineering experience in Asset Integrity
Minimum three years of onsite project management experience
API 570 certification preferred
P.E. licensure preferred
Must be able to stand or walk for long periods with repeated lifting (Up to 50 lbs.), kneeling, crawling, climbing and reaching

This position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
