Position Overview
As a project engineer at Thermosystems, your primary responsibility will be putting together HVAC equipment selections, cost estimates, and submittals. You’ll work on a fast-paced applied sales team assisting engineers and contractors in the design and execution of HVAC projects for new facilities, additions, and renovation projects. Thermosystems provides a comprehensive training program covering HVAC fundamentals and manufacturer specific training for new team members.
Responsibilities
•Generate accurate cost estimates and proposals for HVAC equipment and related systems
•Analyze plans, specifications, and other construction documentation to prepare cost estimates
•Assist the sales team with HVAC equipment selections for engineers and contractors in professional and timely manner
•Prepare technical documentation for equipment selections/submittals
•Learn and stay current on HVAC product applications for the manufacturers we represent
•Develop relationships with manufacturers, vendors, and customers
•Ability to collaborate in team-driven environment
•All other duties assigned.

Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical engineering or related discipline) is required.
•Proven experience in an engineering role is required.
•2+ years of experience in the HVAC industry preferred
