DHN & Company is a global firm specialising in consultancy and the provision of project owners teams to the resource, renewable energy, construction, and industrial services sectors. We have successfully delivered solutions in strategic direction, operational alignment, business turnaround and all aspects of project delivery.
We currently have an opportunity for a suitable qualified and experienced Project Controls Specialist with experience in mining infrastructure construction. This role will be a hybrid role, between WFH and monthly attendance at client sites.
You will bring to our team the following qualities and skills, adding real value to DHN and our clients:
· A base discipline in engineering, project management, construction management or quantity surveying.
· Advanced skills and experience with project cost and scheduling tools, specifically P6 and Excel.
· Advanced knowledge in fundamental project management principles.
· Experience working in the resource, energy, or renewables construction.
· A high degree of competency in producing and presenting project reports.
· A commitment to disciplined processes which deliver outcomes.
· Exceptional work ethic with a focus on teamwork and delivering outcomes.
· Strong field experience, preferably on the Client side, or as a member of an Owner’s Team.
As Project Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for timely and accurate reporting of project progress, including schedules, cost, and reporting. You will expertly deliver the following:
· A timely and accurate master schedules, including cost and programme reporting.
· Weekly project reports to the Project Manager for review and approval.
· Change management event reports for the Project Manager for review and approval.
· Daily, weekly and monthly preparation of project schedule and cost reporting.
