Project Controls Lead - Developments

NSB Omega is searching for a Project Controls Leads - Developments for our Utilities Client in Woodlands, TX.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee project controls for all development projects from planning through execution and closeout

- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project

- Implement cost tracking systems and manage project budgets, forecasts, and change orders

- Create and distribute monthly project status reports, dashboards, and performance metrics

- Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and finance teams to ensure project alignment

- Support risk analysis, earned value management, and trend reporting

- Ensure compliance with corporate governance, policies, and procedures

- Mentor junior project control staff and contribute to continuous process improvement

Qualifications

Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field

- 7+ years of experience in project controls for utility, infrastructure, or industrial projects

- Proficient in scheduling and cost control software (Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, SAP, etc.)

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, etc.)

Preferred:

- PMP, CCP, or similar certification

- Experience working with utility-scale capital development projects in a regulated environment

- Familiarity with environmental permitting and land development processes
