JOB TITLE: Production Technician III
STARTING RATE: $23.30
LOCATION: Bangor, MI
REPORTS TO: Josh Mellinger (Assembly Manager)
JOB SUMMARY
Assemble, install and prepare Getman components. Support Production Technicians in the Assembly process. Participate and support in improvement initiatives and projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•
Works safely and complies with safety guidelines
•
Assemble Getman sub components and products in the most productive and efficient manner
•
This position may require working between Plants as needed to support the Getman Production System
•
Dependable and conducts work in a thorough and accurate manner
•
Prepare trucks for final paint
•
Prepare trucks for final quality control inspection
•
Prepare trucks for shipment
•
Actively supports company initiatives such as process improvements, cost savings, 5S etc.
•
Maintain Production Technician III knowledge and skills
•
Stay abreast of communication, understand and act in accord with Getman Corporation’s standards of conduct, policies, and procedures.
•
Timely communicate ideas and feedback using appropriate communication means.
•
Contribute to Getman cultural vision including but not limited to working in a positive fashion with teammates and leadership, taking initiative, and having ownership of work.
•
Flexible, performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years mechanical related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills, Talents and/or Characteristics
•
Mechanical Skills
•
Ability to read and understand blueprints, hydraulic and electrical schematics
Reading and arithmetic skills
•
Electrical and Hydraulic Skills preferred
