Greylock Energy is seeking a versatile and detailed oriented individual to be our Production Technician, working at our corporate headquarters in Charleston, West Virginia. The Production Technician will have a collaborative role working with production analytics, field operations, accounting, and IT offering support for our oil and gas operations throughout Appalachia and the Rockies.

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to effectively perform the following duties: other duties may be assigned.
- Process and review data received from 3rd party integrators.
- Ensure data integrity across production systems and databases; recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide data to internal departments, including daily/monthly volume estimates, actuals, gas analysis reports, and meter specifications.
- Create monthly well allocations and process for distribution.
- Process prior period adjustments (PPAs) on allocations, as necessary.
- Complete regulatory production reporting to state and federal agencies.
- Calculate and compile yearly projected oil and gas production budgets using historical data.
- Communicate with oil and gas purchasers to resolve discrepancies regarding deliverables.
- Collaborate with field personnel to resolve data-related issues, identify imbalances, and coordinate curtailments.
- Function as a bridge between operations, accounting, and IT, supporting both technical and non-technical users.
- Assist and train field personnel on phone, iPad, and computer applications.
- Serve as a “power user” of Excel and other internal tools, creating and maintaining templates, models, dashboards, and automation solutions.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A bachelor's degree or 5 years of oil and gas experience is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet the driver’s qualification is required.
- Occasional travel to field offices is required.
- Proficiency with MSOffice, with the ability to learn industry specific, company specific, and new programs quickly is required.
- High proficiency with Excel, working with pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling, and VBA/macros is preferred.
- Familiarity with P2 Merrick, Zedi, and FlowCAL is preferred.
