Position Summary

Under indirect supervision, in a team atmosphere, this position is responsible for operational aspects including personnel and equipment safety during the shift.

Responsibilities* Ensure proper startup, operation, and maintenance of the station boilers, steam turbines and generators including associated process and environmental equipment.

Working Conditions* This position is in a power plant/industrial environment, operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, which includes exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust and humidity. This job requires climbing ladders and stairs, lifting heavy loads up to 100 lbs., entering vessels or equipment with limited access; walking, stooping, lifting, bending squatting, pulling, pushing, working in hard to reach and high places, standing for long periods of time, being exposed to all types of weather conditions, and working around machinery and pinch points.

Basic/Required Qualifications* High School Diploma or equivalent

Desired Qualifications* Associates degree in engineering technology, electrical, or related program

Specific Requirements* Must successfully pass POSS/MASS test battery and Physical Abilities work Simulation.
