PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Location: Stoughton, WI Employment Type: Full Time Shift: 1st shift (7am – 3:30pm) 2nd shift (3:30pm-12am)

OVERVIEW OF THE PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations. This role ensures safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity targets are met while leading and developing a team of production employees. The Production Supervisor works closely with management, quality, maintenance, and logistics teams to maintain smooth operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES OF THE PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

- Enforce company safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment.

- Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and corrective actions as required.

- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company standards.

- Supervise and coordinate production employees to meet daily schedules, quotas, and quality standards.

- Monitor workflow, machine utilization, and process efficiency in metals fabrication/processing.

- Adjust staffing, materials, and priorities to meet production goals.

- Ensure products meet customer and internal specifications.

- Partner with quality control to resolve issues and reduce scrap/rework.

- Promote and uphold continuous improvement and learn manufacturing practices.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred.

5+ years experience as Production Supervisor experience.

Strong working knowledge of Enviornmental Protection Agency (EPS), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
