As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dedicated Production Associate to joint our Expansion Joint team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on production experience.
This role is responsible for the fabrication of expansion joint forms in alignment with technical specifications and quality standards.
Essential Duties:
•Adhere to industry quality and safety standards.
•Operate production machinery in accordance with production specifications and work instructions.
•Follow shop orders for cutting, building, packaging and labeling product.
•Produce required quantity of parts/product within established specifications.
•Complete required production records accurately.
•Assist in Expansion Joint Woodshop as needed.
•Meet On Time Delivery goals.
•Maintain continuous improvement mindset and offer new ideas.
•Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
•Demonstrate strong proficiency in mathematical calculations and precise measurement.
•Willing to work overtime when needed.
•Other duties as assigned.
Education/Work Experience Requirements:
•High school diploma or equivalent is required.
•Related technical school or training is preferred but not required.
Knowledge/Skills and Ability Requirements:
•Ability to measure and cut materials to specifications.
•Ability to apply math concepts effectively
•Ability to utilize hand and power tools
•Ability to read and utilize measuring devices.
•Ability to read and update work orders.
•Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to learn.
•Frequently required to stand and walk, reach with hand and arms, stoop, kneel or crouch.
•Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 20 lbs; occasionally up to 35 lbs.
