Production - Mold Line Operator 2nd Shift

We're seeking a motivated individual to be part of our 2nd shift production team.

Schedule is Monday - Thursday 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM/1:30 AM, 40 -44 hours per week.

We offer a $600.00 sign-on bonus paid in two installment.

As a Mold Line Operator, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, ensuring efficient operation on the assembly line within a factory setting. Reporting to the Molding Supervisor, your role will involve utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills with hand to maintain production quality. With a focus on teamwork and safety, you will contribute to a streamlined manufacturing process, helping to meet production targets and uphold the organization's standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES

- Work as part of the molding team to produce quality molds to production standards.

- Completely perform proper molding techniques according to AS9100 work instructions.

- Inspect molds and ensure acceptability.

- Develop and recommend changes to enhance quality and production.

- Be aware of and report discrepancies in the molding process to supervisor.

- Record production and downtime accurately and in a timely manner.

- Perform work in a safe manner, keeping the area neat and clean and following all health and safety rules.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

- High school diploma or equivalent

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Ability to work and communicate well with others

- Ability to follow instructions

- Requires high degree of initiative

- Ability to make practical, independent decisions regarding foundry molding practices

- Legible handwriting

- Keep a neat and clean work area.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT

This position requires constant standing for 8 – 12 hour shifts, pneumatic and electric powered hand tools and the ability to lift up to maximum of 50 lbs. consistently.

The employee is exposed to an environment where hearing protection, eye safety, safety shoes and other personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. During warm & humid weather, employee is exposed to higher heat risks due to ambient temperature along with generated heat from equipment.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.78 per hour
