Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee stone countertops manufacturing, as well as ensure high quality and effective templating and installations. Production Manager is responsible for smooth everyday operations and optimizing the production to its full potential, ensuring that all products are manufactured according to specifications and in a safe manner. Responsibilities include management of the staff and coordination of workflow with other departments.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

•

Accomplish manufacturing targets for quality, cost and on time delivery

•

Manage all staff in the Production Shop and Installation Team

•

Ensure efficient operations

•

Ensure safe and productive work environment

•

Work collaboratively with sales staff to meet customer needs

•

Establish plans of actions to correct and address deficiencies and customer complaints

•

Establish and enforce Company Quality Standards and Policies that will provide more efficient manufacturing and installations

•

Purchase all shop supplies for machinery, tools, and shop/install consumables

•

Ensure that all staff are following safety guidelines and working responsibly

•

Ensure guidance and training on equipment and systems as required

•

Maintain professional and technical knowledge

•

Contribute to team effort and complete other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

•

Post Secondary Education, Diploma or Degree in Business or related field preferred

•

Minimum 5 years experience working in countertop production or similar production

•

Minimum 3 years experience in managerial role in manufacturing setting

•

Strong leadership skills

•

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team setting

•

Excellent time management and organizational skills

•

Ability to work under pressure and in fast paced environment

•

Experience with material handling and Quality Assurance

•

Advanced Technical and computer skills

•

Punctual, reliable, and willing to work flexible hours

•

Valid Class 5 driver’s license

•

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
