Production/Customer Service

Summary of Position: To support all aspects of the production department and complete duties as assigned by the Production Manager in order to provide quality products in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.

Customer Service

· Receive and process sales orders

· Send sales order acknowledgements and updates per customer requirements

· Manage communication with customer including order status

· Monitor and update customer requirements through EDI transactions

· Update and monitor inventory stock requirements

Work Order Management

· Create and manage work orders as needed to process customer requirements

· Print labels as needed

· WIP to finished goods when parts approved for inventory

Shipping

· Get freight quotes as needed for shipments or expedites

· Process shipment paperwork per customer requirements

· Schedule freight pick up per customer requirements

· Supply paperwork and corresponding labels to shipping department

· Update shipment status as required by customer

· Perform other duties as required
