Production Coordinatorin
Knoxville, TN. The Production Coordinator will work with various departments to support the production demands, including planning and directing shipping & receiving, assembly work while ensuring sufficient inventory is on-hand to ensure productivity goals are met for the Windrock product line.

- 5S Champion – Implements and instructs 5S practices.
- Performs cycle counts of inventory.
- Work in conjunction with supply chain to maintain inventory levels.
- Work with scheduler to create work orders as needed for sales orders.
- Inspect work order documentation for inaccuracies and completeness prior to closing work order.
- Routes items to assigned area or stockroom.
- Kit work orders and assign to assemblers based on demand.
- Coordinate with manufacturing manager to maintain an efficient and effective workflow.
- Serial number entry for received serialized items.
- Receive, maintain, and organize inventory.
- Inspect sales orders for accuracy when orders are received from sales.
- Pull and pack customer sales orders.
- Create packing list documentation for order shipments.
- Reduce inventory for RMAs based on repair tech usage.
- Coordinate with quality department to transfer non-conforming materials from inventory to QC location.
- Perform mechanical work on Platinum cabinets. (Drilling, assembly, etc.)
- Support cross training and mentorship of new employees and or/team members.
- Participate in Safety Committee and be a safety champion.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Five (5) years in a manufacturing production/material management role or similar capacity.
- Two (2) years of inventory support experience; including receiving, and cycle counts.
- Experience working within an ERP system.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills - Expresses thoughts clearly, both orally and in writing, using good grammar. Listen to understand input, feedback and concerns. Provides complete information in an open, honest and straightforward manner. Responds promptly and positively to questions and requests.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
