Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

High school diploma

•

Basic math and reading skills

Basic computer skills

•

Good verbal and written communication skills

Basic maintenance skills

•

Experience operating heavy equipment a plus

•

Ability to cross-train in multiple production areas

•

Flexible work schedule and ability to adjust schedule based on production needs/demands

Physical Capabilities:

Ability to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting, bending, twisting, stooping, and working at elevated heights.

Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

•

Comfortable and willing to work safely at elevated heights as required by the role.

Mining Knowledge:

•

Basic understanding of the mining process to assist with operations when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

•

Previous experience in a similar role or familiarity with the mining industry is advantageous but not required.

The Production Associate position could be responsible for any production role within the plant. This Associate will be a resource to all areas including Wash Plant, Dry Plant, Rail Loadout, or be assigned to one of these roles specifically based on the needs of the plant. This associate must have an understanding of the mining process, our customers, product lines, and specifications. Primary tasks will be to maintain production and efficiencies. Associate will could potentially fill in and/or assist within all production areas at the Taylor Sand Plant. Tasks could include operating heavy equipment, performing numerous testing procedures to maintain quality specifications, running and monitoring production processes, and assist with basic maintenance tasks. This position will be a 3rd shift night position.
