Job Overview

We’re seeking a Production Assistant to join our on-site signage studio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has a strong eye for detail, and has an interest in signage, graphics, or commercial art. The position focuses on final assembly, vinyl application, decoration, and light wiring tasks.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate vinyl plotting equipment using Adobe Illustrator and Cutting Master programs

- Apply vinyl graphics and decals to various surfaces

- Clean, prep, and occasionally paint surfaces prior to vinyl application

- Measure, cut, and weed computer-cut vinyl designs

- Use tools such as squeegees and heat guns to ensure smooth application

- Remove existing vinyl and prep surfaces for reapplication

- Assemble signage components and perform light wiring

- Apply adhesives and decorative materials as needed

- Maintain all machinery and equipment in good working order

- Organize digital files and customer records accurately

- Manage inventory of materials and supplies

- Keep the workspace clean, safe, and efficient

- Adapt to shifting priorities and perform other duties as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, especially with vector/raster graphics and file management

- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

- Ability to follow procedures and work safely with tools and materials

- Knowledge of different vinyl types, surfaces, and preparation techniques

- Problem-solving mindset for addressing common vinyl application issues

- Effective communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Experience

- Familiarity with vinyl cutting hardware and tools

- Experience in a signage, graphics, or print shop setting

- Comfortable with light wiring or small assembly tasks

Compensation & Benefits
