JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented, systems-minded Process Engineer to lead the evolution of our internal operational workflows. This individual will be responsible for researching, designing, documenting, analyzing, and automating core business processes across departments, with the goal of enhancing scalability, efficiency, and quality. This individual will utilize the latest AI methods and tools to translate processes and requirements into working implementations. This is a high-impact role supporting our transition from a currently lean team to a significantly larger organization, helping us scale with excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
•Process Research: Investigate and understand current operational processes across departments, identifying strengths, gaps, and opportunities for optimization. Further identify industry best practices for a given process.
•Process Automation Requirements Best Practices: Aid in the development of corporate cross-tool and cross-initiative system standards and requirements.
•Process Automation Development Best Practices: Aid in the development of best practices for an AI-assisted tool development process.
•Process Development & Documentation: Design, refine, and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) that can be easily adopted, audited, and improved upon.
•Process Automation: Utilize AI tools such as OpenAI Operator, Google AgentSpace, and other platforms to Implement and support automation initiatives (e.g., using tools like Zoho Flow, Zapier, Make, etc.) to streamline manual workflows and reduce friction across business units.
•Process Analysis: Monitor process effectiveness using metrics, KPIs, and feedback loops; continuously seek ways to iterate and improve.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, operations, sales, customer support, and project delivery teams to ensure alignment of process initiatives with business goals.
•Serve as a change agent to promote a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and documentation-first practices.
•Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure new processes are properly scoped, piloted, and integrated into day-to-day operations.
•Ensure process designs and automation initiatives align with cybersecurity best practices, data protection requirements, and compliance standards.
•Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging tools in business process optimization and automation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications & Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
•3+ years of experience in process engineering, business operations, systems design, or process automation.
•Demonstrated success in designing and implementing SOPs and workflow improvements.
•Experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Miro, Visio).
•Familiarity with automation platforms (e.g., Zoho Flow, Zapier, Integromat/Make).
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to distill complex processes into structured and scalable systems.
•Understanding of cybersecurity principles and how they relate to secure process design, data governance, and cloud-based systems.
•Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where agility and initiative are valued.

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION
•$60,000 to $75,000 base annual salary, depending on experience.
