Position Title Process Engineer (Module Owner)

Location Burnaby, BC

Reports to Director, Engineering

Greenlane Renewables Inc., headquartered in metro Vancouver, Canada, is a pioneer in the rapidly growing

renewable natural gas (“RNG”) industry. As a leading global provider of biogas upgrading systems, we are

helping to clean up two of the largest and most difficult-to-decarbonize sectors of the global energy system: the

natural gas grid and the commercial transportation sector. Our systems produce clean, low-carbon and carbon-

negative renewable natural gas (RNG) from organic waste sources including landfills, wastewater treatment

plants, dairy farms, and food waste. Greenlane is the only biogas upgrading company offering the three main

technologies: waterwash, pressure swing adsorption, and membrane separation and has over 30 years industry

experience, patented proprietary technology, over 100 hydrogen sulfide treatment systems sold, and over 140

biogas upgrading systems sold into 19 countries, including many of the largest RNG production facilities in the

world. Greenlane is a publicly-traded company on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX: GRN).

customer discussions.

- Collaborate with Design Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Service to ensure

successful integration, commissioning, and operation of the product.

- Define and monitor module-specific KPIs, reliability metrics, and cost performance targets.

- Liaise with supply chain and manufacturing to ensure repeatable, scalable, and cost-effective builds of

the Cascade H₂S unit.

- Conduct or oversee process simulations in Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or equivalent, to validate sizing

and performance assumptions.

- Support training of internal stakeholders (sales, project engineering, service) on module capabilities

and performance expectations.

- Work with Quality and Engineering teams to document and own module specifications, design

guidelines, and standard work procedures.

- Provide active projects with technical support, including: equipment specification, review and selection,

technical evaluation of equipment quotes

- Provide technical support for proposal preparation.

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, with 10+ years of experience in process engineering

- P. Eng. designation is required.

- 2 to 3 years of experience with pressure swing adsorption (PSA), water wash or membrane separation

technologies are considered assets.

- Proven technical expertise in the gas processing industry with extensive experience in natural gas

plants.

- Proficient in Aspen Hysys, Aspen Plus, UniSim, VMGSim, or Promax process simulation software.

- In-depth understanding of the industrial equipment manufacturing industry.

- Experience with AutoCad P&ID or Plant3D is an asset.

- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.

- Unwavering attention to quality and detail.

- Demonstrated strong decision-making abilities with excellent planning and problem-solving skills.

- Capable of managing and prioritizing diverse activities across multiple projects simultaneously.

- Proactive team player with the initiative to solve complex problems and resolve issues effectively.

- Experience with process controls definition.

- Established reputation for sound business ethics and integrity.

- Ability to travel across USA (up to 25%) and occasionally internationally.

We are committed to transparency in our hiring process. We will be offering a base salary of $110,000 - $130,000

based on a candidate's qualifications and experience.
