We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Process Lead Technician to support the safe and efficient commissioning and start-up of a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facility located on the U.S. Gulf Coast. This role will be instrumental in ensuring that process systems are tested, verified, and fully operational prior to handover to operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in LNG or cryogenic systems and be comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
· Reports to the Process commissioning Specialist for planning and execution management support.
· Communicates with the Process commissioning Specialist for technical support.
· Monitor process parameters, trouble shoot issues and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal performance.
· Provide guidance to a team of process technicians.
· Lead by example , demonstrating best practices and safety protocols.
· Generate reports and documentation as required for compliance and process purposes.
· Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all team members follow safety guidelines.
· Report equipment malfunctions to the Process Specialist.
· Working knowledge of Instrument and Control systems i.e., DCS/PLC
· Monitor equipment during start up and fill out required documentation.
· Participate in all aspects of the safety program (e.g., safety meetings, ILP investigations, site inspections, audits, toolbox talks, etc.)
· Work within the PTW system, and issue permits as required.
· Field verifying all commissioning procedures and checklists.
· Implement checks that areas under operations are controlled properly (signage, cleanliness, access)
· Technical diploma or equivalent: a degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
· Minimum 5+ years proven experience as a process technician or similar role in brownfield and greenfield projects.
· Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality procedures.
· Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
· Proficient in using computer software and data analysis tools.
