Job Summary


Process Assistant I

Under direct supervision, this role performs routine clerical tasks that support a specific workflow or phase within a business process. Performs routine and repetitive tasks to support transaction of a part(s) of a business process. Duties include: opening and processing mail remittance, posting data, compiling records and reports in predetermined format, maintaining and preparing simple reports and charts, performing simple calculations, etc. Performs general alphabetic and numeric filing, sorting and cross-referencing. Maintains and updates files, records and logs according to established procedures. Ensures information and reports are complete and consistent with specific rules or procedures. This job is level I or the entry level in a three level Process Assistant series.


Process Assistant II

Under immediate supervision, this role performs a variety of routine clerical tasks that support a specific workflow or phase within a business process. Accountable for transaction of part(s) of business process. Work requires knowledge in the area of assignment as well as applicable department and company policies and procedures to accomplish the processing of information, documents or materials to include: setting up comprehensive records and files, preparing standard reports and charts, compiling data from various sources and forms, contacting other departments to obtain information and reconcile routine discrepancies, performing calculations involving complicated arithmetic, etc. Makes minor corrections, codes items, maintains record of documents processed. Informs departments of missing or incorrect data. Utilizes computer systems and/or other related equipment to record, store and retrieve information. Compiles regular and special reports


Process Assistant III

Under general supervision, this role performs a full range of moderately complex clerical tasks that support a specific workflow or phase within a business process. Accountable for transaction of part(s) of a business process. Performs comprehensive reporting and diverse clerical functions by applying overall knowledge of sources requiring and understanding of interrelationship of report components and use of data or methods that are varied and somewhat complex. Work requires analysis, judgment and detailed knowledge in the area of assignment as well as applicable department and company policies and procedures to accomplish the specialized processing of information, documents or materials to include: selecting and compiling data; performing calculations to translate data and information into required results and investigating and providing routine explanations of variations from generally expected results. Utilizes computer systems and/or other related equipment to record and enter, store and retrieve information. Compiles regular and special reports using established formats and procedures. Resolves discrepancies and may communicate with variety of administrative and professional employees within and outside the company.

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:


Process Assistant I

Basic understanding of the operation of computerized and function-related equipment to record, store and retrieve information. Ability to manage multiple activities and resources. Good oral and written communication skills. 0-2 years general office experience. Basic personal computer skills including using spreadsheet, word processing applications and SAP


Process Assistant II

Ability to manage multiple activities and resources. Ability to manage multiple activities and resources. Strong oral and written communication skills. 2+ years general office experience. Proficient personal computer skills. Proficient skills using spreadsheet and word processing applications and SAP. Basic knowledge of company and department procedures. Basic analytical and problem solving skills


Process Assistant III

Comprehensive knowledge of company and department procedures associated with business process or function. Ability to prioritize work and exercise considerable discretion in performance of duties. Strong oral and written communication skills. 5+ years general office experience. Strong skills using spreadsheet, word processing and graphics applications and SAP. Ability to manage multiple activities and resources. Strong personal computer skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Required degree (equivalency not accepted in lieu of required degree):


High School Graduate , GED

This job requires recommended test results from SHL Microsoft Assessment(s) administered online during the employment selection process.


Microsoft Word - This test evaluates a candidate’s ability to perform certain operations in a simulated environment of Microsoft Word, and includes the following topics: Applying Illustrations and Graphics, Applying Page Layout, Creating Content, Creating, Printing, and Saving Documents, Formatting Content, Proofreading Documents and Reviewing, Maintaining, and Securing Documents.


Microsoft Excel - This test evaluates a candidate's ability to perform certain operations in a simulated environment of MS Excel, and includes the following topics: Applying Formulas and Functions, Creating and Analyzing Data, Formatting Cells, Data, and Content, Managing Workbooks and Worksheets, Presenting Data Visually, and Printing and Views.


Microsoft PowerPoint - This test evaluates a candidate’s ability to perform certain operations in a simulated environment of Microsoft PowerPoint, and includes the following topics: Applying Transitions and Animations, Creating, Managing, and Saving Presentations, Formatting Presentation Content, Reviewing, Collaborating, and Delivering Presentations, and Working with Multimedia Elements, Images, and Illustrations.
