Position Specific Description

Responsibilities Include:

•

Create a comprehensive human-centered design program supporting the digital properties of the Gexa and Frontier brands.

•

Sets design standards for the team and trains and supports the team in UX best practices.

•

Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to inform and guide the design direction for key transactional user journeys.

•

Reviews work of designers/vendors, provide guidance, and collaborate closely with Sales/ Marketing and Engineering. Oversee the quality of all design enhancements to digital properties and serve as the final approver for all deployments.

•

Creates UX metrics to track and improve applications. Work with digital product owners to understand key user journeys and their opportunities for improvement.

•

Implements best practice for Conversion rate Optimization (CRO). Support CRO implementation teams by providing wireframes to support testing programs.

•

Work with IT to implement designs and system functionalities. Understand systemic limitations that could impact or constrain proposed design solutions.

•

Holds traditional management duties — such as planning budgets and timelines, monitoring progress on deliverables, and presenting to leadership.

•

Manage design and usability toolkit, including user access and budgets.

Job Overview

This job is responsible for creating great user experiences on the web and other digital channels. Individuals work cross-functionally and collaboratively to design the graphical user interface and experience for applications and web sites. Employees in this role guide developers through fulfilling the design experience.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

•

Collaborates with product management and developers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience

•

Executes all visual design stages from concept to a collaborative hand-off with software developers

•

Conceptualizes original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks

•

Works with developers to modify HTML, CSS and JavaScript concepts of web applications to align with designed experience

•

Demonstrates both user interface and user experience concepts to product management

•

Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience

•
