About the role:
As a Principal Project Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering Unitywater’s rolling capital program by applying project management expertise, technical insight, and leadership. Working closely with the leaders in the Sustainable Infrastructure Solutions business unit, you will support the teams goals aligned with our strategic ambition.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
•Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships within Unitywater as the primary liaison between Partner Representatives and key internal teams
•Facilitating the integration of projects into Unitywater systems and processes, including access to shared services and coordination during project setup, delivery, commissioning, and handover.
•Providing technical guidance and advice to project teams by applying asset and network knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations, compliance obligations, and operational requirements.
•Supporting the development of procurement strategies in collaboration with Partners to ensure optimal commercial outcomes.
•Enabling smooth project delivery by identifying operational interfaces, supporting commissioning and reliability activities, and managing handover and 'on maintenance' phases to meet performance expectations.
•Contributing to project governance, including lifecycle assurance, reporting, and the use of tracking systems to support timely and informed decision-making.
