Preconstruction Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Preconstruction Manager to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

- Lead the preconstruction process by coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project plans.

- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 to manage project schedules and resources effectively.

- Conduct thorough construction estimating to provide accurate budget forecasts and cost analyses.

- Review blueprints and schematics to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.

- Manage contracts and negotiate terms with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable agreements.

- Oversee project coordination efforts to ensure timely completion of all preconstruction activities.

- Collaborate with the project management team to facilitate smooth transitions from preconstruction to construction phases.

- Maintain effective time management practices to meet critical deadlines throughout the preconstruction process.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in construction management or a related field, with a strong understanding of construction site operations.

- Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and familiarity with Civil 3D for site design projects.

- Experience with project scheduling tools like Primavera and Bluebeam for document management and collaboration.

- Strong skills in blueprint reading, contracts management, and project coordination.

- Excellent time management abilities with a keen attention to detail.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Pay: $81,549.21 - $98,209.80 per year
