Overview
As a Preconstruction Manager, you will play a vital role in the initial planning phases of construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all preconstruction activities to ensure projects are set up for success.
Responsibilities
•Conduct construction estimating and budgeting for projects
•Coordinate with construction sites to gather necessary information for project planning
•Manage project timelines and budgets effectively
•Utilize software such as Prolog, Bluebeam, and ProCore for project management
•Coordinate project activities with various stakeholders
•Read and interpret blueprints to support project coordination
•Ensure efficient utilization of resources and materials
•Maintain accurate documentation throughout the preconstruction phase
Requirements
•Minimum of 8+ years of experience in estimating and pre-construction management, specifically in industrial construction projects is a plus.
•Proficiency in construction estimating and project management
•Strong understanding of industrial construction processes, cost structures, and estimating methods.
•Estimating or project management certifications (e.g., AACE, PMP) are a plus.
•Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
•Prior experience in construction site operations is advantageous
