Power Trader

Due to the continuing growth of the desk, we are pleased to announce an opening for a Power Trader to strengthen our team. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience

on an electricity trading desk and have an entrepreneurial and proactive approach. They will be enthusiastic to be part of our coast-to-coast expansion.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage an existing power portfolio, primarily focused on the eastern interconnect

- Support senior traders with pricing for structured deals and origination

- Manage price risk in both term and cash markets including delivery and settlement

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of power trading experience with a proven track record

- Strong trading discipline and ability to perform within VaR limits

- Entrepreneurial spirit, strong results driven attitude
