Job Summary

We are seeking a Power Systems Engineering Technologist to join our Engineering team. From day one, this position will collaborate with Manufacturing and other interests to determine Requirements for engineering to ensure our products can meet compliance This position involves reading and understanding processes and technical drawings for all products, equipment, and structures.

Responsibilities:

•

Verify that documents are the latest Revision.

•

Determine what are the requirements for upcoming documentation.

•

Communicates equipment design to Engineering.

•

Adequate understanding of GD&T standards.

•

Participates in the preparation of design guides and guide specifications.

•

Deals with Scheduling.

•

Comes up with instructions.

•

480 3-phase panel experts.

Work in a collaborative team environment with marketing, project management, quality, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, agency/safety teams, and global manufacturing operations. *

Skills and Qualifications:

•

Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or equivalent.

•

2+ years of experience as in Power systems. (specifically, 480V 3-phase for panels).

•

Experience with Intrinsic safety requirements and explosion proofing is a plus.

•

Experience with hardware and safety circuit design for automated machines.

•

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, including cross-functional teams and multiple engineering disciplines.

•

Attention to detail.

•

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•

Strong organizational skills.

•

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
