Summary: Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Molder is responsible for making molds and cores capable of producing good, quality castings.
Work Experience Needed: One to three years of verifiable work history. Foundry experience is preferred.

Nature & Scope-Principal Areas of Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management deem necessary from time to time.
- Prepares mold and core boxes for usage.
- Fills boxes with sand, hooks, rods, etc. according to process.
- Strikes off, trims, pushes mold aside to cure.
- Pushes empty boxes into place and repeats the above procedure.
- Reports any problems with equipment to supervisor in a timely manner.
- Lowers ‘head’ and cleans mixer at the end of the shift.
- Cleans work area at end of each shift.
- Cleans out table pit at the minimum, once per week.
