We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chemical Lab & Performance Intern to join our power plant operations team. This internship offers hands-on experience in both laboratory chemical analysis and plant performance monitoring. You will work closely with engineers, chemists, and operations staff to support safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant plant operations.
- Assist with routine and non-routine chemical sampling and analysis of water, steam, and fuel systems.
- Support the calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lab instruments and analyzers.
- Collect and analyze plant performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or anomalies.
- Help prepare technical reports, logs, and documentation for internal and regulatory use.
- Participate in performance testing and efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on environmental compliance and process optimization projects.

- Be currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Have basic understanding of water chemistry, thermodynamics, or power plant systems is a plus.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Be proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Have excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Be willing to work in both lab and field environments, including wearing appropriate PPE.Protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, ear protection, gloves, and safety boots must be worn in the performance of some duties.
