Plant Operator - Day Shift

Summary of Position: The plant laborer/operator performs specified tasks at our facility to meet safety, quality, and efficiency goals while supporting the policies and objectives of the Company. This position will be a 12-hour shift with rotating days off. Hours will be 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., with required overtime.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties may be modified, or additional duties assigned.

· Operating plant equipment such as crushers, screeners, and aspirator.

· Work with the Plant Superintendent, Customer Service, and fellow coworkers to produce materials for our customers

· Perform quality tests and record data.

· Conduct inspections and perform minor maintenance.

· Loading trucks, operating a skid steer, dump truck, wheeled loader, and other company vehicles.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment: Plant environment with some work outdoors.

· Physical demands include working in dusty environment, climbing in and out of equipment, lifting 50-pound bags, cleaning, sweeping, shoveling, working with hand tools, loading trucks and railcars, and inspecting equipment including elevators which involves climbing to the top about 135 feet.

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Proficient in computer skills and good communication skills.
