Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced Planner/Scheduler to develop, manage, and maintain detailed project schedules for a major construction project. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure work is progressing according to plan and within scope and budget.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
•Integrate construction, engineering, procurement, and commissioning schedules.
•Monitor progress against baseline schedules and identify deviations or delays.
•Prepare look-ahead schedules and provide regular updates and reports to project leadership.
•Analyze schedule impacts and provide mitigation strategies as needed.
•Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to align deliverables with project timelines.
•Participate in project meetings and provide input on schedule performance.
•Assist in the preparation of schedule-related sections for progress reports and client presentations.
•Support the change management process by evaluating the schedule impact of scope changes.
Qualifications
•Minimum 5 years of proven experience in planning and scheduling for large-scale construction projects.
•Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 (preferred), MS Project, or similar.
•Strong understanding of construction processes, critical path method (CPM), and resource loading.
•Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and other project control techniques.
•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
