Paramount Energy Consulting Group, LLC continues to experience significant growth, and as a result we are searching for an experienced Pipeline Operator for projects in West Virginia and surrounding areas.
Job Type: Full-Time, 50+ hours per week. Travel to and from multiple job site locations.
Under close supervision, perform routine activities to utilize electronic and technical subsurface locating equipment to accurately locate underground facilities including, but not limited to, ground cable lines, buried gas lines, condensate lines, casings, fiber optic lines and water lines. Responsible for utilizing mapping resources and other information to physically mark subsurface utilities with the appropriate flagging markers while meeting the required timeline.
Communicate, obtain, and execute daily locate tickets primarily from WV 811 system and/or other state locating systems as necessary to respond timely and appropriately.
Utilize GIS mapping sources to assist with locating Company assets and utilities.
Perform location of utilities within the 48-hour time frame to ensure compliance.
Comply with all Environmental laws, policies, and regulations.
Promptly report and document all adverse Environmental and safety conditions.
Install pin flag and line markers to accurately identify subsurface pipelines and other utilities.
Maintain positive working relationships with other departments, third party services providers,
Inspect ROW conditions and other Midstream appurtenances.
Familiar with electronic equipment used to locate utilities.
Possess valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR) that meet Company’s Insurance qualifications to operate Company vehicle.
Three (3) years of line locating or related oil & gas experience.

Knowledge of 811, Miss Utility and One Call systems in WV and OH.
Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft office Word, Excel, Outlook.
Able to communicate and provide accurate documentation.

Able to work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
Able to recognize and apply safety processes and procedures.
Ability to safely operate vehicles, equipment, and tools.
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Extreme cold and heat: temperatures typically below 32o F or above 100o F for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions as wind, rain, snow, and humidity.
Noise: there is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level. Noise around Compressor station.
Vibration: exposure to oscillating movements of the extremities or whole body.
Hazards: includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to chemicals, gas vapors.
