OPERATOR I - PIPELINE

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A CONTRACT TO PERM POSITION

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for maintaining facilities, batteries, wellheads, meter runs, pipeline risers, rectifiers, and any other equipment associated with our daily operations to provide a safe and productive work environment in our field operations.

- Position will require working in conditions of extreme heat and cold, high noise levels, poor ventilation, and fumes and gases that will require personal protective equipment and training.

- Employee will be required to safely operator a motor vehicle, day or night, and at times under adverse weather conditions.

- Capable of operating spray equipment, weed trimmers, chain saws and other vegetation control equipment.

- Capable of operating devices used for leak detection and locating pipelines.

- Must be able to negotiate ladders, stairs, and terrain with grades of 24 degrees.

- Must be physically fit to lift 50 pounds from pick-up bed.

- Must be able to operate company vehicles and lease equipment for 8 hours per day or more.

- Office work environment less than 10%

- Ability to work independently in remote locations and areas with minimal communication.

- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and abide by all safety rules and regulations.

- Communicate with supervisors and coworkers.

Perform minor repairs when practical, including rebuilding dump valves, controllers, regulators, chemical pumps, and other needed equipment.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- Valid driver's license

- Average technical skills

Capable of using the equipment described to perform required job responsibilities.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

- High School Diploma
