We are currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter at our Fort Hills site. This is a hands-on role involving the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems on industrial sites, all work is performed in accordance with applicable codes and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications

- Lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems

- Cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes using various tools and equipment

- Work closely with welders and other trades to complete installations

- Conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure system integrity

- Perform equipment and system troubleshooting and maintenance

- Adhere to all site safety procedures, policies, and regulations

- Complete daily reports and maintain proper documentation

Qualifications

- Alberta Journeyman Pipefitter Certification or Red Seal Journeyman

- Preference will be given to candidates who hold a dual ticket (Pipefitter/Millwright or Pipefitter/Boiler Maker)

- High School Diploma or GED

- Clean Drivers Abstract

- Previous experience working in the Oil & Gas or the Heavy Industrial sector

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work in physically demanding environments

Information And Other Key Details:

- This will be a fly in fly out position at our Fort Hills Site, North of Fort McMurray

- This is a camp based position

- You will work a 7 days on and 7 days off dayshift rotation

- This a safety sensitive role
