This position leads the execution of the Corporate and NextEra Power Generation business processes. Employees in this role are responsible for PGD Wind financial analysis, month-end reporting and intramonth operational forecast. Individuals plan, schedule, communicate, and coordinate the month-end close, Total Cost and MOPR reporting and monthly re-forecasts for the NEER Wind fleet. Employees in this position focus on the continuous improvement of reporting and analytical procedures in accordance with corporate policy and business objectives to drive insights for executive decision-making.
This job is a principal-level analyst who leads decisions and recommendations significantly impacting financial and commercial aspects of the business unit. Employees in this role participate and support the critical financial issues to overall business unit commercial objectives, which include but are not limited to budgeting, forecasting, analysis, benchmarking, reporting, and internal controls. Individuals in this role must have an understanding of the financial and reliability impacts of budget and forecast changes. This position also establishes financial and controls policies and programs designed to meet the commercial objectives of the business unit that drives continuous fleet improvement.
